In 2013 Taryn Lencoe set a goal to raise funds and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. She did so for her cousin and others in her life, living with MS. On August 16th 2014 Taryn swam for twelve hours and raised $15,408. This event gained media coverage with print news, television, and radio. Today the spirit of SwimMS remains as strong as ever. Taryn now works with the MS Society and still aims to inspire the community to help #endMS.
SwimMS remains committed to Taryn's vision, and committed to strengthening the community which the Multiple Sclerosis Society supports. Through associated inspiring events, media outreach, and fundraising, we ask the community to wake up! and join us to #endMS!
